Presenting Issues
We support teens, adults, couples, and high achievers with a range of issues.
Tailored Therapy to Help Every Issue
From mental dissatisfaction to low-self esteem and relationship problems, we can help with a wide range of presenting issues. Through a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, CBT, and exposure therapy, we can give you the tools to overcome whatever you are struggling with.

Trauma and PTSD
Trauma and PTSD therapy helps individuals process and cope with the emotional and psychological effects of a traumatic experience. Trauma can affect the body and the brain in many ways, but with therapy, you can learn to acknowledge, address, and overcome the impact of a traumatic experience.
Anxiety
Many types of therapy can help treat anxiety, but one of the leading approaches is CBT. CBT helps with anxiety by teaching you to identify and challenge the unhelpful thoughts that contribute to it. You will then also learn practical strategies to manage these thoughts.

Depression
If you feel like you’re constantly trapped in your thoughts and a seemingly endless cycle of sadness, it’s important to know that these feelings do not have to be permanent. Therapy can help you overcome depression by helping you address the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to depression.

ADHD
ADHD can be treated with medicine or therapy, but often, a combination of both is best.
Behavioral therapy is one way of treating ADHD. This type of therapy focused on identifying and addressing problematic behaviors, as well as teaching strategies for improving focus, organization, and impulse control. If ADHD is getting in the way of your life, therapy can help you.
People-pleasing
People-pleasing often, though not always, stems from a lack of self-worth. This can lead to individuals seeking validation and approval from others. People-pleasing can also lead to someone putting others’ needs over their own, in an aim to avoid confrontation.
If this sounds like you, therapy can help you. Therapy can help you learn to set boundaries and assert your needs.

Emotional Avoidance
If you feel like you avoid situations, thoughts, or feelings that trigger discomfort, this could be emotional avoidance. Whilst you might think distractions are healthy, if used as a long-term coping mechanism, they can hinder your emotional growth, well-being, and relationships.
Therapy can help with emotional avoidance by giving you the tools to recognize and address your avoidance behaviors, helping you create healthier relationships.
Identity Concerns
Therapy is an incredibly valuable tool for exploring and addressing identity concerns. A therapy session is a safe space for you to better understand your core beliefs and values. By delving into these issues, you can get a better understanding of who you are, leading to a more fulfilled life.

Relationship Issues
Unfortunately, most of us don’t experience the fairytale relationships we thought we would. Lots of couples struggle with conflict resolution, trust issues, and lack of connection. However, these problems are not necessarily a reason to ‘give up’.
Some relationships are worth fighting for, and therapy can give you the tools you need to do this.
Life Changes and Transitions
Life changes and transitions, big or small, can affect us in many ways. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the birth of a new loved one, or moving jobs, home, or cities, these things can have a huge impact— even as they’re seen as a “good thing”!
Whatever you’re struggling with, big or small, “bad” or “good”, therapy can help you adjust to your new way of life.

Stress
Stress can hugely impact your quality of life. Not only is it bad for your mental health, but it can impact your physical health too! Whilst a little bit of stress can be good for you, helping motivate and inspire you, prolonged or excessive stress can be detrimental to your health.
Only you can decide when good stress has turned into bad stress. But once you have noticed those scales tipping, it’s important to seek help.

Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem can affect people in so many ways, it can lead to people pleasing, anxiety, depression, or self-sabotage. All of these things can get in the way of you enjoying your life and accepting who you are.
In therapy, we can explore your low self-esteem, what might be causing it, and how you can overcome it to enjoy better self-worth.
Letting Go of Anger
While feeling anger is normal, holding onto it is not. When you have problems letting go of anger, you’ll often find yourself holding grudges, and these might get in the way of your relationships with people you love.
Therapy can help you with emotional regulation and negative thought patterns. Through therapy, you can stop anger from getting in the way of a happy life.
